Everyone visiting Windwave’s room each year at COREbike is guaranteed to see some eye-wateringly nice products from a line-up of cycling’s very best brands. The 2025 show will be no different with the Windwave vans making the journey up from HQ in Gosport packed full of new bikes and kit to show to dealers.
Here’s an idea of what to expect from the Windwave team at this year’s show.
New Transition Sentinel V3
The Sentinel V3 is the big-hitting all-rounder that’s ready to handle anything the trail throws at you. Built Transition’s signature Speed Balanced Geometry, this 29er is all about confidence and control, whether you’re charging steep tech, railing corners, or sending it on the big stuff. With 150mm of rear travel paired with a 160mm fork, the Sentinel V3 balances downhill smashability with uphill efficiency—perfect for riders who want one bike to do it all. Dialed, durable, and built to send, this rig is your ticket to all-mountain domination.
But it’s not just about the big lines—the Sentinel V3 nails the details that matter, too. A steepened 64° head tube keeps the bike lively but composed, while the revised cable ports ensure quiet, hassle-free routing, which is also neat for wireless setups. The carbon model steps it up with the all-new BOOM box internal storage, perfect for stashing tools and snacks without adding bulk. And for Shimano fans, the Sentinel V3 is now available with Deore and XT builds. Whether you’re threading through tight switchbacks or hammering on wide-open flow, this bike is dialed for anything the trail throws your way.
New Colnago Y1Rs
The new Colnago Y1Rs represents a significant advancement in cycling technology. Created in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and Khalifa University, this bike is built to meet the highest demands of professional cycling, redefining how aerodynamics and performance are achieved.
At the heart of the Y1Rs is the innovative WYND Technology handlebars, featuring a unique Y-shaped, ‘gull wing’ profile that minimizes turbulence and drag. This design ensures a seamless airflow across the cockpit, enhancing aerodynamic performance. With a custom carbon layup, these handlebars are 16% stiffer than leading competitors, allowing for efficient power transfer during sprints and high-intensity efforts.
The Y1Rs also features a DEFY seatpost joint, a clever dual-Y structure that aligns with the seat tube to reduce drag while providing vertical compliance for enhanced comfort.
The Y1Rs isn’t just a bike; it’s a testament to Colnago’s relentless pursuit of innovation. Every detail, from the advanced WYND handlebars to the meticulously optimized frame shape, has been honed for maximum performance in real-world racing conditions. This is the bike that challenges the status quo and sets new standards in aerodynamic design and rider efficiency.
New Colnago V4
The Colnago V4 brings the pedigree of its big brother, the V4Rs, to a wider audience—delivering performance and innovation at a more accessible price point. Built with a monocoque carbon frame, the V4 maintains the aerodynamic efficiency, stiffness, and handling Colnago is known for. It’s the perfect choice for riders who want the speed and precision of the V4Rs without going all-in on a pro-level race machine. This is speed, elegance, and heritage rolled into one stunning ride.
New Colnago G4-X
The new Colnago G4-X is a gravel bike that blends race-bred performance with off-road versatility. Drawing inspiration from the V4Rs, this carbon monocoque frame is engineered for speed and responsiveness on varied terrain. With clearance for up to 45mm tires, the G4-X offers enhanced stability and control on rough paths. Available in 1x and 2x Shimano drivetrains.
The inclusion of a T47 bottom bracket and a new seatpost lock ensures durability and reliability during intense off-road riding. Whether you’re racing or exploring, the G4-X is designed to deliver a balanced and exhilarating ride.
