BZ Optics

BZ Optics unique eyewear was developed by Scott Birdsall - an avid cyclist, canoeist, sailor and triathlete and Kevin Barr a surfer and sailor with 40 years experience in the action sport and sunglass business, in conjunction with one of the worlds most advanced sunglass design teams and manufacturers.

Scott needed a sunglass that he could train in at all hours of the day. A lens that would be clear before dawn or in very low light conditions but would darken as the day progressed and UV intensified. This sunglass should also enable Scott (who wears reading glasses) to read his digital computer on his handlebars and small print on his watch while running without the need to switch to reading glasses.

The idea came to Scott and Kevin after Kevin's company Barz Optics enjoyed great success in the marine industry with their specialized polarised sunglasses with small bi focal readers in the base of the lens. But the early morning athlete required a more complex photochromic lens with more applications.

Sourcing a photochromic lens with optional bi focal inserts involved a 12 month, worldwide search. This world first lens was sent to Kevin's frame manufacturer to develop a super lightweight cycling frame adaptable for all face shapes and sizes and for wearer comfort under even gruelling conditions.

Come and try them for yourself at Core.

Cycloc is the global leader for stylish bike storage.

We are recognised as having created this product sector.
Although the first commercial Cycloc product was produced in 2006, it was actually developed several years earlier by company founder Andrew Lang to satisfy a personal need for storing bicycles at home.

A professional industrial designer and keen amateur cyclist, Andrew's bicycle collection was booby-trapping his London apartment. As an appropriate solution could not be found, Andrew designed his own. This original concept, now named SOLO, has gone on to win numerous design awards and industry accolades.

The HERO is the latest addition to our family of five contemporary bike storage products. Our products offer smart, simple, cycle storage to suit all bike styles. They are the ideal solution for displaying and storing bikes in the home, office and retail settings.

Cycloc's philosophy is simple-to create products that any cyclist will love to live with.

Smart, simple, storage, style.

Demolition BMX

Demolition came about in 2000 after an idea Brian Castillo had on a road trip with Jason Enns and Kris Bennett in Ashland, Oregon. All three felt the need for a new parts brand due to the lack of rider owned and designed parts for the core riders at the time. The lack of brands and owners of current parts brands during this period were middle aged men that lacked soul and history in bmx that all 3 felt were lacking by their current sponsors.

From that trip, Demolition was formed and Jason and Kris Bennett were obviously the first riders on team. The 3 were ahead of the curve when it came to diverse pro riders at the time, all 3 ruled street, dirt, ramp and formed everlasting history from each one of their video parts and print magazine photos and articles.

The parts that were designed from Demolition at the time were built around the 3 riders and what they liked and dreamed of riding that their previous sponsors didn't make.
Some of the highlighted parts at that time were the Demolition Waffle grips, Lightning Bolt 45t sprockets, D Fat railed seats, double walled Zero rims, Zeppelin tires, signature Wessel Spine cranks and the list goes on.

Today the Demolition team is still just as diverse as the first 3 riders, and the parts are still designed from riders for riders.

Light Blue

The Light Blue were first produced in 1895 by John Albert Townsend in Cambridge and is an exclusive brand with 120 years of heritage that deserves consideration in the finest IBDs.

John Albert's handmade bikes were popular with the Town & Gown of what is now often referred to as Cycle City. The Light Blue bicycle brand name came from the historic sporting colours used by the World famous Cambridge University. The rivalry between The Light Blue colours of Cambridge and the Dark Blue colours of Oxford are perhaps most famously seen in the annual Boat Race on the river Thames. In 2005, 110 years after they first appeared, The Light Blue Bikes were re-born again, designed in Cambridge by the great grandson of the founder and with the type of attention to detail that four generations of living and breathing bicycles brings.

Designed with an ethos that puts customer satisfaction at the top of the page, the Light Blue bicycles retain traditional style, whilst utilising modern materials and production techniques. With all of our bikes, the Devil is in the detail.'

Light Blue currently offer well specified city bikes (urban) and also finely detailed sports machines.

Their urban bikes continue to sell well and nutted axles, lightweight alloy frames, double wall eyeleted rims, alloy bars, adjustable height quill stems, Dog Leg rear carrier, laminated chrome-plastic mudguards with twin stainless stays, stainless steel spokes, gel saddle with kevlar anti-scuff patches, brake levers with rubber inserts, ergonomic grips, alloy non-slip pedals and anti-puncture tyres are some of features that are standard features on a Light Blue City bike.

In their 120th year, The Light Blue added three new Reynolds tubed bikes added to their Sport range giving Light Blue a full line-up of steel machines for the sportive, leisure and touring market.
The Wolfson is a fast sportive bike based on a tig welded 853 frameset and a Carbon fork.
The Robinson is built from R725 tubing for Sports use with mudguard and rack fixings.
The Darwin (also R725) is the modern evolution of a touring machine, with mountain, road and Rohloff build options.
Both the Robinson and Darwin feature disc brakes.

Also new is the St Johns, a club/lightweight touring bike, which will join the popular Kings and Trinity (fixed) frames/bikes in the Retro' range. The St Johns is fashioned from 725 tubing, features centre pull brakes, mudguard clearance and eyes.

Light Blue are now looking for serious, professional cycle retailers to become exclusive dealers for this interesting exciting brand of quality bicycles.

Miss Grape

Miss Grape Snc, was founded from an idea back in 2014 but had in reality started much earlier than that with Michele Boschetti making bags in his home for his own use on bikepacking adventures across Italy.

Instead they use a derivative of a ballistic polymide fabric with incredible tear resistance which, from their own testing is also more abrasion resistant and ultimately more durable.

Volume BMX

Volume Bikes was started in 1999 by Brian Castillo after he rode for S&M Bikes and Primo. During his early riding career, he worked at Primo in their R&D/Marketing department and helped re-brand their image/ products. Chances are that if you rode in that era, you rode a part or parts designed by him.

Brian has always been an excellent rider who had a lot of input on the design and development of the BMX parts he was riding. Hence, Volume Bikes was born. Volume is a small rider owned company that produces high quality frames, forks, bars and bikes for the hardcore BMXer.

Brian even has a little BMX racing roots in him and it comes through in the strength and lightness of his designs.
